How do we help you making a plastic mold?

Volkan's mold making process can be roughly divided into the following steps.

1. Mold design process:

Analyze the drawings, preliminarily confirm the mold scheme (mold structure, mold specifications, number of cavities), analyze and quote the mold cost, determine the main structure of the mold, analyze the mold flow, and draw the mold diagram.

2. Making molds:

(1) Ordering materials: mold base, sprue sleeve, splitter cone, mold core, row parts, oil cylinder, ejector pin, needle inlay, exhaust plate, etc.

(2) Rough machining: mold base (A, B plate), sprue sleeve, splitter cone, mold core, runner, exhaust plate

(3) Heat treatment and precision machining

(4) Heating oil circuit, cooling water circuit processing, assembly

(5) Processing and pouring, exhaust system

(6) Processing row accessories, code mold slots, mold holes, etc

(7) Mold core, row core, inlay, needle inlay, copper polishing

(8) Parts inspection: After all parts (copper) in each process are processed, they can only flow into the next process after passing the inspection with three-dimensional measuring tools.

(9) Mold assembly: After all the parts of the mold are processed and inspected, and the standard parts of the mold are in place, the mold is assembled.

3. Check the mold and fill out the quality inspection form.

4. Delivery
